Obasanjo and Babangida - Kettle calling Pot black

Perhaps day of reconning is nigh for these two shameless ex leaders who, without prompting, have chosen to wash their dirty linen in the public. These shameless duo tried tell each other apart but Nigerians are not fooled by their vituperations on each other as we know clearly well that they have more in common than they are trying to make us believe. Both had been heads of the military junta in the past. Although Obasanjo willingly relinquished power as a military head of state in 1979, as a civillian president he attempted to manipulate the constitution for a third term rule after seving the two terms of 8 years. Babangida, as a military president, embarked on the longest transition to civil rule we have seen in the history of the country. He never planned to relinquish power until he was forced by the will of the people to go after annuling the freest election in the history of the county. Both men's regimes witnessed high level murders. Mr. Dele Giwa, the founding partner of the Newswatch was brutally muredered in house while Babangida was the military president. President Obasanjo regime witnessed the murder of the Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige. Both murders are unresolved to date. The two are stupendously ricjh, Although no corruption charges have been brought against them, none of them has been able to explain the source of their wealth in any coherent way. But again Nigerians are no fools We know they have been past rulers - Obasanjo for eleven years, Babangida for eight years. Needless we probe any futher.

Lets call a spade a spade, these people are merely playing out somebody's script. Its ovious that some very powerful and unscrupulous political elements are using this miscreants to distabilize the government and create insecurity in the nation. Taking a cue from OBJ himself when he said of recent that Jonathan should treat the issue of Boko haram more politically and with care than with force; these people! in "high places" they know the root of this country's problems but wont do anything about it because that way they benefit more and can easily continue to oppress and enslave the citizenry. May God almighty deliver us( the innocent masses) from their reign of terror(Amen)

reading the comment on the comparison of Babangida and Obasanjo shows the ungratefullness of some Nigerians. And how Nigerians are hard to please. You cannot cricisesomeone untill you have properly assess his work over a period of time.
Please go back and think deeply about how and what was achieve during Obasanjo 8 years as president. And please tell us any good thing Babangida has ever done for Nigeria or accomplish for Nigeria. Has Babangida ever represent Nigeria for Nigerians?
Please lets forget the past and support the present. Pray for Jonathan to be greater than all tha

The current war of words coming from General Ibrahim Badamosi and General Mathew Aremu Okikiola Olusegun Obasanjo is a welcome development in Nigeria to see the last tresses in the butts of the Military incursion into governance in Nigeria. The blood of the innocent Nigerians, the souls of the founding fathers, the pains and sufferings of poor Nigerians will continue to hurt the Buffoon and Buffalo leaders that have misled the country. They would definitely get paid before they bid this world farewell for their journey to hell or heaven depending on their imagination.

GOD ALREADY IS IN CONTROL; HENCE THE SITUATION THEY FOUND THEMSELVES: IRRELIVANCES!? SO, PERHAPS WE SHOULD PRAY TO GOD FERVENTLY, TO ASSIST GOODLUCK JONATHAN IN HIS TRANSFORMATION AGENDA!? They both have a lot to answer for especially in the face of the incessant bombing attacks by the faceless Boko Haram. Only people with millitary training and background can carry out such acts. I believe the same group responsible for Dele Giwa and Bola Ige's death are still at play now. Masterminders! They should all be exposed.
